Depending on the product family, DIN 86251 and DIN 3356 design standards and the EN 558 Series 1 (DIN 3202 F1) face-to-face standard are applied. Flanges are manufactured to EN 1092-2/B (DIN 2501) in PN 4/6/10/16 pressure ratings. Of the 1,120 products published in the catalogue, 941 reference a DIN standard in their technical specifications.

Bodies and bonnets are produced in cast iron (EN-GJL250 / GG25) and ductile iron (EN-GJS400-18-LT / GGG40.3); internals such as seats and stems are in stainless steel (X5CrNi18-10 / AISI 304 and X20Cr13 / AISI 420). Yes. The Dikkan Metal sand casting foundry casts iron, steel and bronze alloys, with an annual capacity of 12,000 tonnes and part weights from 50 grams up to 6 tonnes. The pattern shop, core shop, moulding, melting and grinding processes are all carried out in house.

In our R&D Centre casting processes are modelled with ANSYS based casting simulation, and patterns and prototypes are produced on 3D printers. The resin moulding line can cast parts up to 4000 × 4000 × 1500 mm.
