Foundry

Dikkan Metal Sand Casting Foundry is capable to cast a wide range of iron, steel and bronze alloys.

Our foundry have an annual casting capacity of 12.000 tons. Casting part products have a wide range from 50 grams to 6 tons.

Patternshop

The foundry includes a patternshop, coreshop, molding, melting and grinding processes.

Patternshop is capable to produce the patterns made from several materials such as plywood, epoxy, aluminium. For this production, CNC vertical processing, woodworking benches or traditional methods are used.

Coreshop

In the coreshop, core production is carried out using cold box and shell core methods and wooden, araldite or aluminum core boxes. Cores have different shelf lives depending on their material types. An average of 50 tons of cores are produced per month.

Molding

Green sand and resin sand is being used in molding. Green sand mold production is carried out with semi-automatic machines. Resin molding is carried out with a mixer with a capacity of 30 tons/hour. Green sand molding lines can produce products with dimensions of 450 mm x 550 mm x 350 mm and 600 mm x 720 mm x 500 mm. In resin molding, products with dimensions up to 4000 mm x 4000 mm x 1500 mm can be produced.

There are a total of 7 induction furnaces in the melting sections with capacities of 500 kg, 1000 kg, 1500 kg, 3000 kg. These furnaces can be used for the production of different alloys as long as refractory materials are prepared. For casting operations, casting manipulator or traditional methods are used depending on the product alloy, geometry and thickness.

Grinding

In grinding operations, there are equipment such as hanger sandblasting machine, drum sandblasting machine, hydraulic runner breaking and CNC grinding machine. Operation steps are recorded in the ERP system for traceability of the production flow of foundries.
